Welcome to PredicTourney ("we," "our," or "us"). We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data in accordance with modern cryptographic, security, and legal standards. This Privacy Policy outlines how we collect, process, and protect your information when you access the PredicTourney Arena or enter our free predictive matchmaking brackets.

02 /THE DATA WE DO NOT COLLECT

STRICT NON-BROKERAGE DESIGNATION:

Because PredicTourney operates exclusively as a predictive arena of pure analytical skill, we hold zero connection to actual securities or trading interfaces.

We explicitly NEVER ask for or collect:

▪Brokerage account login credentials or API keys.
▪Real-money credit card deposits, cash funding details, or bank account routing numbers.
▪Details about your real-world financial portfolio, options stakes, or derivatives assets.

03 /THE DATA WE COLLECT

To maintain the integrity of our leaderboard brackets and deliver rewards, we process specific categories of data:

Identity & Account Profiles: Unique username, avatar configurations, and system-generated Glicko-2 match histories.
Contact Protocols: Email addresses utilized for authenticating your secure Supabase database connection and dispatching round notifications.
Prediction & Bracket Data: Your submitted forecasting parameters (forecasts for equity Open, High, Low, Close, and Volume), accuracy scores, matchup outcomes, Elo ratings, and leaderboard rankings.
Fair-Play Analytics: Internet Protocol (IP) addresses, device types, browser version headers, and session interaction metrics. This is processed solely by our system to perform automated bot detection, cheating audit reviews, and multi-accounting checks.

04 /HOW WE UTILIZE DATA

All processed user details are constrained strictly to the operational mechanics of our matchmaking system:

To establish and maintain your secure authentication profile.
To compile, seed, and display public bracket configurations.
To calculate matchup Glicko-2 ratings and update leaderboard standings.
To execute fair-play audit logs ensuring that no scripts, scraping mechanisms, or multiple logins manipulate the competitive tournaments.

05 /DATA MINIMIZATION & PRIZE FULFILLMENT

PredicTourney is a tournament platform, not a payment processor or e-commerce merchant. We do not collect, store, or process credit card numbers, bank account information, or physical shipping addresses at any point.

Tournament prizes are issued as digital gift cards delivered by email. Prize redemption occurs entirely on our Shopify-hosted storefront, which operates under Shopify's own PCI-DSS Level 1 certified infrastructure. Product fulfillment is handled directly by our retail partners via Shopify Collective. PredicTourney has no role in order fulfillment or logistics.

06 /WHAT WE STORE

We retain the following data for the duration of your account:

Username and email address — for account authentication and prize delivery
Tournament participation and prediction history — for scoring and leaderboards
Prize issuance records — tournament ID, prize tier, and gift card ID for audit purposes

Gift card redemption codes are stored encrypted at rest using AES-256. We do not store your physical address, phone number, or payment details.

07 /YOUR DATA RIGHTS

In accordance with GDPR and CCPA frameworks, you may request the complete erasure of your account data at any time by contacting privacy@predictourney.site. Valid requests will be fulfilled within 30 days across your PredicTourney account and any associated records on our e-commerce partner platform.

08 /DATA RETENTION & SECURE DELETION

Supabase Encrypted Storage

All authentication mechanisms are handled securely via cryptographically isolated Supabase cloud databases. We utilize Row Level Security (RLS) policies to block any cross-account data leaks.

Right to Deletion

Users maintain the right to erase their profiles. Once requested, your personal identification and email records are purged or requested for deletion across our platforms (including e-commerce partners), while historical prediction scoring data may be anonymized to maintain bracket integrity.
